Franklin County Warrant Records Franklin County Warrant Records

Questions about Franklin County warrant records should go first to the office that controls the case. The Sheriff’s Office and Judicial Commissioners handle county criminal process, while the issuing court can confirm its docket and explain current status. City citations may belong to a municipal clerk instead. Have a citation, case number, or court notice ready when calling. Call before visiting. Record the name of the office and date of the answer. Verify the office first.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.

Route the question to the office that controls the process:

  • Whether a warrant exists: call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and ask for the Judicial Commissioners or the appropriate warrant contact. The public Warrant Search link is employee-only.
  • A missed court date: contact the court that set the case. General Sessions, Circuit, Juvenile, and city matters have separate clerks and access rules.
  • Resolving or clearing process: consult a licensed Tennessee attorney and ask the issuing court what motion, appearance, or order is required. We cannot arrange a surrender or payment.
  • A city citation: begin with that city’s municipal clerk or police contact. A citation balance and a separate FTA order may need different steps.
